Qualification & Seeding Rules

  • All qualification and seeding is based on playoff performance during the 2024 calendar year.
  • For every playoffs you place in the top 4, you will receive points based on your final standing:
    • 1st - 5 points
    • 2nd - 3 points
    • 3rd - 2 points
    • 4th - 1 points
  • The player with the highest point total will receive the highest seed, and so on.
  • Ties will be broken by a single seeding game for high score prior to play.

Let's get ready to rumble!!

It's time for the 2024 CCPL inter-League championships to declare a new CCPL Champion! The tournament portion is limited to qualifying players only, but all from CCPL are welcome to come and hang out.

This tournament format will be a "Royal Rumble" ladder style match play until two players remain. The top two players will play a best 2 out of 3 to determine the champion.

Note: WPPR Points ARE NOT awarded for this tournament

  • Doors open at 11:00am for practice
  • You must qualify to participate in the tournament, but all are welcome to attend
  • Seeding tie breakers will happen as soon as possible before needed
  • First match starts at 12:00pm
  • Play order is fixed based on seed, you must arrive prior to the start of your match (or required seeding game) or you will forfeit your position
  • Format is a "Royal Rumble" ladder style match play tournament
  • Top winner receives the coveted 2024 CCPL Inter-League Championship trophy and bragging rights for a whole year!

Royal Rumble Match Play

  • Each round will consist of a one game match between the bottom 4 remaining seeds.
  • Player order for each round is determined by the overall seeding, where the highest seed plays in the 4th position.
  • The loser of the match is eliminated from the tournament.
  • The eliminated player also chooses what game will be played in the next round.
  • The same game cannot be played in back to back rounds.
  • The next highest ranked seed replaces the eliminated player and another 4 player match is played.
  • This pattern continues until there are three remaining players.
  • The final three players will play a single three player match, with the loser being eliminated.
  • The final two players will play a best two out of three match.
  • Loser of game 1 chooses game 2 or player position.
  • Loser of game 2 chooses game 3 or player position.
  • Winner of the final match will be declared the 2024 CCPL Champion!
